Disneyland on the brain

Forgive me.

I’m trying to pack my little family up for our trip to Disneyland, and it’s leaving me feeling a little spastic.

On one hand, I have so many things I want to blog about; and on the other hand, my mind can’t settle on just one topic. It’s like having temporary ADD.

I’m resorting to a post with many links. Hopefully, you’ll find something here that inspires you. Please note that these links aren’t in any particular order…

I am in love with Layla’s house. Her creativity and style makes my heart swoon.

Christy has thought of the sweetest random act of kindness for this week! I love this idea, and I love that it’s easy enough to fit in before we hit the road. Go check it out and see if you want to participate.

I found another kindred spirit when it comes to random acts of kindness. (Or rather, she found me…Hi JessieLeigh!)

I stumbled upon the wonderful Positivity Blog and this wonderful post on being charismatic. I’ve always admired people with self confidence and charisma.

Here’s a fun one on sculpting a bunny out of a napkin.

I think this rainbow cake would be so cool for my daughter’s 3rd birthday in May.

I would like to make one of these for each of my kids.

And since I’m sharing, this is the maid of honor dress I will be wearing for my sister’s wedding in August. No, not in green…in graphite. Cute, huh?

Did any of these links inspire you? Which one was your favorite?

Thanks for posting these great links. I haven’t had a chance to look at them yet, but they sound great. In relation to your comment about packing for your trip, check out the post on my blog today about stress. It might help you out as you’re getting your family ready for your upcoming adventure.

Renia~ Isn’t that rainbow cake so cool?! I can send you some food coloring, if you want…

I love that rainbow cake too! I want to try and do cupcakes for my son’s preschool class!

jenelle~ That would be very cool for preschool. Unfortunately, my son’s preschool has strict rules against bringing anything homemade (because of all of the nut allergies.) However, I’m pretty sure I’m using my daughter’s birthday as an “excuse” to make it. ; )

Hope your not traveling to Disneyworld with that luggage, unless your travling by ocean liner and then connecting with a steam locomotive.

@ Ms Fizzy~
I can’t resist vintage luggage. It’s too beautiful.
