green smoothie
Exercise:
nothing
Breakfast: 1-serving Bob’s Red Mill Mighty Tasty Hot Cereal, 2 Tbsp almond butter, 1/2 banana sliced, 1 cup instant decaf coffee
At the circus: apple larabar, 1-serving veggie chips (about 25 chips)
Late “Lunch”:(2) carrot apple muffins, topped with almond butter and 1/4 smooshed banana
Afternoon Snack: green smoothie: 1/2 cucumber, juice of one lime, juice of one lemon, 7 medium-sized kale leaves
Dinner: (starving!!) (3) homemade GF cornbread muffins with vegan margarine & agave syrup, 1 cup leftover gazpacho
After Dinner snack: mug of instant decaf coffee, 1 tbsp. almond butter
Observations:
This evening, while making dinner, I was feeling tired, fatigued. I think I hadn’t eaten enough. When the cornbread muffins came out of the oven, it was all I could do to control myself. And yes, limiting myself to only three was harder than you think.
While the Quantum Wellness Cleanse is not as difficult as one would imagine, it’s also not super easy. Well, it’s not convenient. When I’m starving and want something quick to eat, it’s not so easy to grab something. So many things have SUGAR or gluten or casein (milk product) in them. It’s not second nature yet, but I’m becoming more and more used to checking the ingrediants in products. One ingrediant that I have found in a couple of things is “evaporated cane juice.” And um yeah, I’m pretty sure that “cane juice” is lingo for sugar. ; )
Six days down; one more day makes a week. : )

Wow, that sounds hard! Worthwhile but hard.
On one of your previous days you mentioned how much time you spend in the kitchen for this cleanse and how it eats into your time for other things. I can relate to that because I need to prepare more of my own “special” food to get healthy however by the time I have cooked for everyone else and have my breastfed baby whining to be picked up, I have no time left to make myself anything….yet another yoghurt bites the dust.
Have a good Sunday!

Tell me about it.
You seem to be doing well. Keep up the good work.
I love green smoothies and have a recipe on my blog:
