Today was one of those non-stop days. Nothing special, nothing particular planned…just go, go, go.
The icing on the cake is that the kids just got to bed, and it’s 8:55 pm right now. This is typically unheard-of in my household, because I am a firm believer of earlier bedtimes.
Anyhow, the point is this: I never got a chance to write a post for today. So here I am, scrambling to put something together so that I can get to bed by 9:30. Since committing myself to my 30 day habit, I definitely feel a responsibility to uphold my end of the bargain. I guess that’s why Leo advises you to “post your goal publicly” for accountability.
The downside of sticking to my habit, is that on a day like today, it leaves no time to post. From now on, if you don’t see a daily post from me, it’s my way of telling you that I’ve gone to bed on time. Thank you for understanding! ; )
Well, it’s 9:11 and I have to brush my teeth and tell those kids to “go to sleep!” one more time.
‘Night all.

well, it will be hard to miss a day of your brilliant posting but I will try to get through without.
Now, I need to make a goal like that as far as the computer. I am drawn to it because it sits right in my kitchen. I want to set some limits like only be on the computer once/twice a day for so long. Wow, I sound like I am addicted now. I am not but you know (right?)
so, how do you manage your blog / reading blog time?
Kirwin! That is awesome! I usually am better at starting a new thing on Mondays. Don’t ask me why?! I have no clue! So my 30 days is starting Monday. Good for you for keeping up with it!
My kids have an earlier bedtime too and I always have to tell them to go to sleep many times before they actually fall asleep! LOL! Have a great weekend!
@ Denise~
Oh, I wish I knew the answer to that question. My laptop is in the kitchen, too, and if I earned a quarter each time I checked my email, I’d be one rich stay-at-home-mom! Seriously. I have about 5 or 6 blogs that I read each morning — yours being one of them, of course. My other *favorites* don’t get checked regularly, because I just can’t. It’s so dang easy to get sucked into the computer!! I know what you mean about being addicted…I just don’t want my kids to have memories of the back of my head, ya know? ; ) I’ve been trying to write my posts in the afternoon, while the kids are napping/having quiet time. Actually…I have thought that one of my 30-day habits will be something about limiting my time on the computer, but one thing at a time, right? ; )
@ Chele~
Thanks for the encouragement. I know what you mean about starting things on Mondays…I’m usually the same way. For what it’s worth, I am feeling more rested. I hope you have a great weekend, too.
